Introduction of case studies for the Silent Vacuum Drainage System (1)
Response to floor demolition work due to underground piping renovation and significant reduction of construction period! (Certain high school)
【Case Study of Adoption at a Certain University (Kanagawa Prefecture)】 (1) Requirements Renovation of the men's restroom on the first floor. (2) Specific Reasons for Hindrance to Requirements There is no underfloor pit, and all existing piping is laid in the ground, necessitating floor demolition work. Additionally, the renovation is desired during the summer vacation, but due to school events, the actual construction period is limited. (3) Specific Design Adopted an SVD system, with toilets and urinals using lining booths for above-floor drainage. ▼ Vacuum Unit - Decision on System Since it is a school, the restroom will be used intensively during breaks. Given the high frequency of use, a continuous suction type "C-2 model (drainage capacity 80L/min)" was adopted. - Decision on Installation Location Installed close to the outdoor drainage manhole and surrounded by a safety net fence. ▼ Vacuum Piping - Decision on Laying Route Planned with exposed piping in the ceiling area of the first floor. - Consideration of Vacuum Tube Extracted from the top of the vacuum piping after the vacuum drainage valve. ▼ Detection Manhole - Decision on Installation Location Divided into two zones for suction, with four sets of toilets and other areas. - Consideration of Capacity The toilet side is 450×450×400H (suction volume approximately 36.5L), and the urinal side is 500×450×310H (suction volume approximately 16L).
